Amber and Ben loved their home in Lee, but they were running out of room to live, work, and relax. Rather than uproot their family, they partnered with us to design and build a fully independent ADU above a new two-car garage. Chris worked closely with Amber and Ben from the beginning, walking through every layout decision, material selection, and finishing detail as a team. That hands-on collaboration eliminated hidden costs and unexpected changes.

Salvaged barn boards were repurposed as a full-height kitchen accent wall, grounding the modern space with warmth, texture, and a sense of history that Amber and Ben wanted woven into their everyday life.

Custom wooden bunk beds maximize sleeping capacity for family or guests in a compact footprint.
Triangular windows designed to mirror the roofline flood the interior with natural light and frame views of the surrounding woods, while statement lighting anchors the vaulted space.
Black cabinetry, butcher block countertops, a matte black faucet, open shelving, and a retro-style SMEG refrigerator create a kitchen that's as functional as it is striking.
A walk-in tile shower with glass partition, wood vanity, white countertop, and matte black fixtures deliver a clean, elevated feel.
The two-car garage below doubles as a home gym with a treadmill, rowing machine, squat rack, and wall-mounted tool organization, with overhead kayak storage keeping gear out of the way.
Light maple hardwood runs through the entire living space, reflecting natural light and unifying every room with warmth.
With home offices relocated out of the main living space and a private retreat finally in place, Amber and Ben got their home back. The ADU gave their family more storage, more functionality, and the breathing room they’d been craving, all without leaving the property they love.
