MoSCoW is a prioritization method that sorts your project goals into four clear categories: what you must have, what you should have, what would be nice to have, and what you'd love down the road. We use it at the very start of every project because the clearest plans produce the best results, and the best results start with knowing what you really want.
These are your non-negotiables. If a Must-Have isn’t part of the project, the project isn’t worth doing. Think functional essentials, safety requirements, and the features your household can’t do without.
Examples:
Should-Haves are high-priority upgrades that would make a real, lasting difference in how you experience the space. They’re important enough to protect if at all possible, but they’re not the reason the project exists.
Examples:
These are the details that elevate a good remodel into a great one. Could-Haves add character and polish. They stay on the list and get included when the budget allows.
Examples:
Would–Not-Like-to-Haves are the ideas you would not like to see in your project. Naming them now matters because it lets us design with the future in mind, so those ideas aren’t accidentally designed in.

Every project we take on is shaped by this list. Your priorities are the foundation of our scope, our budget conversations, and every design decision that follows.
When we know what matters most to you, we’re all working toward the same goal from day one. There’s no guessing, no backtracking, and no redesigning after the fact. Your priorities are documented, shared, and honored throughout every phase of the project.
When your Must-Haves are protected and your Would-Like-to-Haves are honestly set aside, your budget goes exactly where it counts. We build a scope around your priorities, not the other way around.
No two families live in their home the same way. Your MoSCoW report tells us how your household really works, so we can design a space that fits your life and not just a template we’ve used before.
Here’s what a completed MoSCoW breakdown looks like before a project begins.

Here’s exactly what to expect after you submit.
We review every submission carefully. The more detail you share, the better prepared we are for our first conversation.
Katie will reach out to schedule a short call to confirm your project is a good fit and answer any early questions you have. No pressure, no pitch.
If we’re a mutual fit, Chris will visit your home to walk the space, discuss your goals in depth, and outline what a realistic Comfort Zone Budget might look like for your project.
